SONIA THEODORIDOU
Soprano Sonia Theodoridou was born in Veria and from an early age devoted herself to the art of opera singing. She studied at the Manolis Kalomiris National Conservatory and as a scholarship recipient of the
Maria Callas Foundation, continued her studies in Cologne and London training under renowned artists such as Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Christa Ludwig.
Over the course of her career, which has taken her to some of Europe's most prestigious opera houses from Berlin and Venice to Brussels and Paris—Sonia Theodoridou has collaborated with internationally acclaimed conductors including Zubin Mehta,
Antonio Pappano, and Sir Neville Marriner. Her
repertoire encompasses the great heroines of opera, while her recordings blend the classical tradition with Greek musical heritage, reflecting an artistic journey marked by passion, sensitivity, and a profound love of music.
MICHALIS SOURVINOS
Born in Athens. He studied classical guitar,
advanced music theory, electronic music, piano, and saxophone (Athenaeum, Zografou Conservatory, N.C.T., Southeastern College). He has received numerous
awards and top distinctions in international
performance and composition competitions, most recently winning Absolute Winner at the Bach International Music Composition Competition, the Diamond Prize at the World Grand Prix, and the
Platinum Prize at the World Classical Music Awards.
As a guitar and mandolin soloist, he has performed with symphony orchestras under the baton of distinguished Greek and international conductors. He appears in solo recitals both in Greece and abroad, and collaborates regularly with internationally renowned artists. He teaches classical guitar, mandolin, and chamber
music at music conservatories in Athens, as well as
in masterclasses and international festivals. His
