From History to the Glass
A walk through the heart of Naxos, with Terra Grazia as its destination
There are places you do not simply get to know; you walk through them, observe them, and in the end, taste them.
The route from Episkopi to Sagri is a journey through the history and landscape of Naxos. From Panagia Theoskepasti and the Byzantine traces of Episkopi, through the old orchards and traditional villages of Sagri, the path reveals towers, churches, and mansions that tell the centuries-old story of the island.
And somewhere between history and landscape, the path leads to Terra Grazia.
In historic Kato Sagri, the vineyard and the Della Rocca–Grazia Tower create a distinctive setting where cultural heritage meets contemporary winemaking. Here, the land of Naxos becomes vineyard, the vineyard becomes wine, and the visit becomes an experience.
With a tour of the estate and winery, getting to know Naxos moves from history to taste. The indigenous grape varieties, the unique microclimate, and the relationship between the vineyard and the landscape reveal a different side of the island — more authentic, more tranquil, more profound.
Because Naxos is not merely a place you visit.
It is a place you walk through, discover, and, in the end, raise to your glass.
We would like to warmly thank Anavasi Publications for the excellent design and editing of the walking sign, which guides walkers through the history and culture of the area, to a distinctive wine experience at Terra Grazia, where culture becomes taste.
